Japanese Gardens
Located within the Washington Park Arboretum, the Japanese Gardens are a 3-1/2 acre formal garden designed and constructed under the supervision of world-renowned Japanese garden designer Juki Iida in 1960. The Gardens are seasonally open from mid-February to mid-November. Activities at the Gardens include festivals, music, storytelling, workshops, moon and tree viewings, and tea ceremonies. A community meeting room is available for rental.
An audio tour and podcast of the Japanese Garden is available.
