Acreage: 4.6HISTORYBayview Playfield is located in the Ray Street subdivision (local residents in 1957 petitioned the City Council to change the name to Raye to avoid confusion with Roy Street). the City acquired the site in 1914 for park and playground purposes; one-third of the cost was a gift from the owner, W.P.
