Youth Basketball League (Girls and Boys)
Boys Age Groups: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14-15, 16-17*
Girls Age Groups: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14-17*
Minimum: 5 players per team
The Seattle Parks Department’s Youth Basketball League provides young athletes the opportunity to learn and solidify the fundamentals of basketball while participating in weekly-organized practices and games. League games begin the first week of January and run through the month of March with the opportunity for post-season play at the end of the regular season. Practices occur at the home community center and games (on Saturdays and Sundays) occur at various community centers throughout the city.
