Seattle Parks TeensYouth Violence Prevention

Seattle Parks and Recreation's Youth Violence Prevention Program is in partnership with City of Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative (SYVPI). Seattle Parks and Recreation has three (3) Extended Hours Program (EHP) sites. These sites provide additional program hours outside of Parks universal program times. All programs are YOUTH FOCUSED and YOUTH MADE based on civic engagement, employment, arts, education, environment and community capacity building. Our Power of Place model is centered on YouthVOICE programming. The VOICES of our youth are important. All POWER OF PLACE programs reflect youth ideas, passions and interest. For more information contact the Sr. Coordinators located within your community.
