O2 effectively utilizes outdoor programming as a tool for education. The O2 educational system reflects a three-fold process: exposure to life skills, outdoor living skills and biological and ecological theory. Students are taught the skills during a variety of monthly overnight excursions which take place throughout the state in both remote and urban environments.
