The O2 program is an outdoor environmental education program dedicated to urban initiatives. O2 effectively utilizes outdoor programming as a tool for education. The O2 educational system reflects a three-fold process: exposure to life skills, outdoor living skills and biological and ecological theory. Students are taught the skills during a variety of monthly overnight excursions which take place throughout the state in both remote and urban environments. The O2 method of environmental education powerfully connects the sense of self with our communities and to the natural environment.
