Seattle Parks and Recreation's newest long-term partnership was approved by the Seattle City Council on April 5, 2012 and an Ordinance will be signed by the Mayor in the next month.

YMCA of Greater Seattle will manage and operate the Cascade People Center in the South Lake Union neighborhood, located at 309 Pontius Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109.

At Seattle Parks and Recreation we value our diverse range of partners, who help guide us toward our mission of creating community through people, parks, and programs. We recognize and appreciate the many partnerships that support our park land, facilities, and programs. Working toghether we have built and continue to sustain one of the best Parks and Recreation programs in the nation. In some cases, partners may be better able to leverage expertise, skills, and resources to provide a program or service.
