This summer we offer an exciting new program for elementary and middle school-aged kids: the Playground Art in the Parks Program, which takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays from June 27 to August 27.

ABOUT THE PARK

Brighton Playfield, located next to Aki Kurose Middle School, includes ballfields, tennis courts, and a children's play area.

HISTORY

Brighton Playfield, purchased in 1913, was named for the original townsite, called "Brighton Beach" in honor of a seaport in England.
