The Associated Recreation Council
Seattle Parks and Recreation partners with the Associated Recreation
Council (ARC) to offer a variety of recreational and life long learning
programs, classes and activities to citizens throughout Seattle.
The Advisory Councils assist in providing programs and services to
the community and advise the Department of Parks and Recreation regarding
programs, services, facilities and operations.

The Opportunity FundThe Advisory Council Opportunity Fund is a grant fund created by the ARC Board of Directors to accept voluntary contributions from member advisory councils for the sole purpose of making strategic grant awards to member advisory councils in support of programs, classes, activities and projects that promote quality recreation programming in partnership with the City of Seattle Parks & Recreation Department.
