Homelessness Prevention and Family Rapid Re-Housing Programs

The Seattle Human Services Department is seeking investment proposals from qualified organizations for funds supporting two program areas: (a) homelessness prevention, and (b) family rapid re-housing programs. Up to $5,375,000 is available for two-year contracts.

Application Workshops - applicants are required to attend one of two workshops.

Application Due Date - RFI applications are due to the Human Services Department on the appropriate due date listed below. Please review the RFI document for the submission process and requirements:

  • Application for Homelessness Prevention is due by 5:00 p.m. on July 17, 2009
  • Application for Rapid Re-Housing for Families is due by 5:00 p.m. on July 24, 2009

Request for Investments (RFI)
Building Healthy Teen Relationships

The Human Services Department Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention Division is offering interested individuals and organizations an opportunity to request an investment from the City of Seattle to provide an evidence-based domestic/dating violence and sexual assault prevention program for middle school youth (ages 11 to 14).

Plan to attend the RFI Information Session on June 24, 9:00 a.m. at the 2100 Building, 2100 24th Ave. S., Seattle.

Application Due Date - RFI applications are due to the Human Services Department by 5:00 p.m. on July 17, 2009.

Domestic Violence Community Advocacy, Shelter, and Transitional Housing Programs

The Human Services Department, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention Division is offering interested individuals and organizations an opportunity to submit a proposal to provide domestic violence programs and services. Eligible programs include community and legal advocacy, emergency shelter, transitional housing, and a hotel/motel voucher program.

Plan to attend one these two RFI Information Sessions

  • June 9, 3:30 p.m., at the 2100 Building, 2100 24th Ave. S., Seattle.
  • June 22, 10:00 a.m., at the 2100 Building, 2100 24th Ave. S., Seattle.

Application Due Date - RFI applications are due to the Human Services Department by 5:00 p.m. on July 31, 2009.

Request for Investments (RFI)
Homeless and At-Risk Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning Youth and Young Adults

The Human Services Department (HSD) is offering experienced organizations an opportunity to request an investment from the City of Seattle to provide direct services to homeless and at-risk Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning (LGBTQ) youth and young adults, ages 12-24 ,who live in Seattle. The total annual investment for homeless and at-risk LGBTQ youth and young adult services is $152,437.

Plan to attend the RFI Information Session on June 4, 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the Capitol Hill Library, 2nd floor conference room, 425 Harvard Ave. E, Seattle, WA 98102.

Application Due Date - RFI applications are due to the Human Services Department by 5:00 p.m. on July 15, 2009.
