Climate Protection

We know that climate protection is an important value to the citizens of Seattle. As the city to lead a nationwide challenge of other cities to sign on to the Kyoto Protocol (over a thousand cites signed!), we have long been recognized as a leader in climate protection work. In 2012, we are updating our Climate Action Plan with new strategies and activities that put us on the path of achieving Carbon Neutrality. Visit this page often to receive updates about the climate action planning process and find out how you can get involved.
