Mayor announces 2008 Small Business Award Winners

Mayor Greg Nickels will announce this years 10 Mayors Small Business Awards winners this evening at a celebration at Town Hall. Every year, ten small businesses in Seattle receive special recognition for their accomplishments through the Mayors Small Business Awards presented by Wells Fargo. 2008 marks the 24th year of the Mayors Small Business Awards program.

Chubby & Tubby site redevelopment and Alpha Cine relocation to MLK corridor Mayor Greg Nickels today sent legislation to the City Council to help fund the redevelopment of the former Chubby and Tubby site on Rainier Avenue South, and to assist local company Alpha Cine in relocating its facility to 9800 40th Ave. S.
