Welcome to Seattle Planning Information and Data Resource
(SPIDR) Center, a "virtual center" developed to provide
a centralized resource for those who want greater access
to planning-related information and electronic data. Our
goal is to make it easier for you to access maps, data,
and information related to city planning in Seattle.
While this site does contain population and demographics
information and data, including an interactive mapping
tool to explore 1990 and 2000 Census data, information
that is more targeted to population and demographics needs
is located on the City'sPopulation
and Demographics website.
Any comments or suggestions regarding this site should
be directed to Jennifer Pettyjohn, GIS Analyst in DPD's
Comprehensive Planning Unit, (206) 386-9041, jennifer.pettyjohn@seattle.gov.
We hope you enjoy your visit.
Please note: If you have a request for maps or
GIS data, please look around the SPIDR site to see if
you can find relevant information to meet your needs.
If not, then please review our tip
sheet for mapping and data requests before
you attempt to contact us. Thank you.
