Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)

DPD has completed an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) process to understand potential impacts from possible land use changes in South Downtown. The primary purpose of the Livable South Downtown EIS is to ensure that analysis of environmental impacts is provided to the public and decision makers.

2008 FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR THE LIVABLE SOUTH DOWNTOWN PLANNING STUDY

On May 29, 2008, DPD published the Final EIS for the Livable South Downtown Planning Study. This Final EIS is organized into five chapters, with accompanying appendices that contain technical reports and other information.

2007 DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT FOR THE LIVABLE SOUTH DOWNTOWN PLANNING STUDY

On November 1st, 2007, DPD published the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for the Livable South Downtown planning study. This Draft EIS is organized in three chapters, with accompanying appendices that contain technical reports and other information. Chapter One is a summary of the impacts identified by the Draft EIS. Chapter Two is a description of the four alternative sets of actions that are studied. Chapter Three includes several sections that describe the identified impacts by environmental topic. An introduction and table of contents is also provided. This electronic version fully reproduces the printed version of the Draft EIS.
